WELCOME TO THE VENDOR APPLICATION PORTAL FOR THE 2025 SEASON OF THE FARMERS' MARKET AT SANDPOINT
To participate in the Farmers' Market at Sandpoint, ALL vendors, new and returning, must:

complete and submit an application for the season

pay the $20 application fee

submit relevant products for jurying, if applicable, and obtain jury approval
-
secure necessary registration(s) with Panhandle Health for food items, if applicable
-
receive confirmation of approval from the Market Manager

pay the annual Membership Fee
-
remain current with Daily Pass/Season Pass fees
The Farmers’ Market at Sandpoint seeks local farmers offering fresh, locally-grown produce & farm products along with fine art, handcraft, & food vendors who produce unique products demonstrating significant creativity using locally grown & locally sourced materials.
ABOUT JURYING
Farmers bringing produce and products sourced on their own land/farm do not require jurying for market approval; products offered by farmers crafted from non-farm materials may require jurying approval.
All fine art/craft and NON-FARM food vendors' ITEMS (including all new items offered by existing vendors) must be juried and approved before COMING TO their first market.
New and returning applicants with items to be juried will need to coordinate with the Market Manager to have items/foods included in one of four jurying sessions between April and June. Note that no item that requires jury approval can be sold at market prior to jury acceptance.
Jurying is based on overall quality, uniqueness, and market enhancement. In considering applications, the FMS Board prioritizes vendors who don't otherwise have customer-facing storefronts.
All businesses and items coming to the Farmers' Market at Sandpoint must secure associated permits, licenses, and/or approvals from all relevant governing bodies (Panhandle Health District, ISDA, USDA, etc.) before coming to market.
PLEASE BE AWARE, PANHANDLE HEALTH DISTRICT REPORTS THEY CURRENTLY HAVE AN APPROXIMATELY TWO-WEEK TURNAROUND TO PROCESS.

Before launching the vendor application, we recommend you familiarize yourself with the Farmers’ Market at Sandpoint’s vendor FAQs, rules and regulations, and by-laws to address common questions and avoid misunderstandings.
If you have additional questions, you’ll have an opportunity to ask them at the end of your application.
Please read each section carefully and provide detailed answers to meaningfully inform the Board's consideration of your application.
